Helicopter taking off from ground level, beside a brick building. The rotors spin increasingly faster, the engine revs, and the bird takes off into the distance, quickly fading. A very pure recording with the exception of one voice early on.

This is a 2018 maserati granturismo idling before switching into sport mode and launching. The gt has a v8 ferrari engine.

This is a clip of various engine sounds recorded on my 2003 subaru impreza wrx with a 3" turbo-back exhaust system. The audio starts with the engine at idle and includes a few engine revs at different rpms. You can hear some turbo whistling and also some rattling of god-knows-what parts. It's a little muffled (kind of a muddy sound), but could be used as part of an action sequence or with a music track laid over. Recorded at silverstone circuit from becketts grandstand for the fia formula 3 (race 1) for the 2022 season. Recording captures the entire lap, from the exhaust sound from them coming through the loop, aintree and the wellington straight with them coming past the microphone at maggots, becketts and chapel corners. 04-21-2013 - chainsaw cutting:sunday, april 21, 2013: had to take care of some fallen trees; seemed wise to record it. This chainsaw is brand new. 45cc recording taken at a distance of 30 feet and is unfortunately tarnished at the front with an ambulance siren. Recording gear: zoom h2/n @ 44. 1k/16bit using built-in xy microphones.

Two contact microphones recording an engine from a mini cooper s in sport mode. Surprisingly aggressive-sounding. Intended to use for a race car asset. Contact microphones are stethoscope-like mics that you place onto a surface to record vibrations. This way, i was able to record the raw engine without wind or perspective. The left channel is the chassis and the right is the engine block. . . Blending the two together produces a great sound. Free to use.

Trying to start my dads formula ford race car, its a lola 1600cc from 1984. The car has won the world championship, back in the days. After standing still for half a year, the old lady didnt want to wake up easy. But, shes alive!!! still quite grumpy lol the ignition was not set up properly, so the old gall was spitting flames!! if you listen carefully you can hear the popping and banging of the explosions in the tailpipe :)recorded with my phone.
